DocPal is a document management system based on the desktop publishing system OpenOffice 3 Writer.
OpenOffice 3 is a suite of programs similar to Microsoft Office; however, it is free to download and use. DocPal provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to OpenOffice Writer that lets you create a document from a predefined Writer template, open the document on your desktop for editing, and then archive your document. You can also store and manage information about your correspondence contacts, such as a contact name, address and reference information, and populate your document with these details with a single mouse click.
