Categorize Plus for Outlook 2.0.126
Categorize Plus is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2003 that unleashes the power of Outlook Categories.

Categorize Plus comes in a Free, Lite, Standard and Professional version. The free version includes a movable dockable Category Editor that can be used to quickly edit Outlook item categories. This Category Editor can be docked either in the Outlook Navigator, in the Item List, or in the To-Do Bar. The free version also includes the ability to assign actions to categories such that these actions are automatically performed whenever categories are assigned to Outlook items. Actions include the ability to automatically move messages into specified folders, to automatically add or remove categories, and to automatically turn emails into tasks or appointments. Finally the free version also includes options to auto categorize by subject, to auto erase categories when sending and receiving items, to copy and paste categories between items, and to undo or redo previous categorizations. The free version can be activated using the free activation code 0000-0000-0000-0000-0000. The paid versions add the ability to filter and search items that were previously categorized. In addition, the Professional version adds the ability to create customizable menu hierarchies that contain category, filter and search criteria. These menus are customized using a full featured Menu Builder. The paid versions come in a Lite ($15), a Standard ($20) and a Professional ($30) version.

Although it took a bit of time to learn how to use it, I find it a valuable time saver and productivity enhancer. It initially seems a bit complex compared to similar products, but only because it offers so many more features, making it far more flexible. After a very brief learning period, it proved to be quite intuitive. It's also very stable and well-written.
