Taking advantage of Apple's Core animation and Spotlight features makes it a fast and stable software. Kyaya Media Player is made in realbasic. People are encouraged to make and build on to the kyaya media player project and also to make their own versions of it and are free to redistribute the software. Kyaya Media Player is currently only available for Mac OS X on both PowerPC and the Intel architecture but our intentions are to move to Windows and Linux and also the Sparc Platform. the kyaya group wishes to be informed of any non-kyaya group builds of the software and also wishes to host and distribute it.
