Everyone thought that Apple was ahead of the streaming music trend when they purchased LaLa in 2009. Coupled with the news of their billion-dollar data centre in North Carolina, the stage was set. Then, in early 2010, Google announced Google Music, and as I've reported on a few times here, rumours has been swirling about Google's streaming music project ever since. But, with very little noise, Amazon has beaten them both. Last night, Amazon launched their Cloud Drive and Cloud Player which allows storage of data (free for the first 5GB,) which can be streamed from any PC or Mac along with any Android device. Yes, this is the first big Android exclusive.
