As predicted, Google has launched video chat for Android. And, as expected it's included in a new version of Google Talk which is amazing because it's the Instant Messaging app that every Android user has installed. Except that Google decided that this would have to come as a part of an OS update. That means it won't get to users of any phone aside from the Nexus S, until manufactures and carriers decide to release it. And we all know how long that will take.
