About the opportunity:
As a Fleet Manager, you play a vital role in managing the (growing) Fleet of Vehicles within the Ting Internet business. Oversight includes vehicle standardizations, procurement strategies, maintenance, repair and insurance.

This is a completely remote position anywhere within USA.

Job Duties:

  • End to end procurement handling of new vehicles (hunting, negotiating, purchasing, etc.)
  • Working with Finance partners to forecast ahead future vehicle purchases, cashflow needs and alignment with annual budget
  • Immediate and ongoing evaluation of Financing vs. Leasing both with Vehicles and perhaps with non-Fleet relates leases such as Warehouse or Equipment leases
  • Keeping a vigil eye for opportunities related to financial & operational efficiencies
  • Setting up and monitoring a maintenance and repair programs in coordination with local teams (oil changes, etc.)
  • Oversight & upkeep for the Auto Insurance Policy (additions, changes, removals, accidents, annual renewals)
  • Working with partners to formalize a policy and implementing practices related to Diversity in sourcing with vendor relations, look at best of breed companies that do this well as a model
  • Management of the Fleet credit cards (ordering, monitoring spend, revoking, supporting)
  • Establishing & maintaining vehicle standards including standard models, reduced carbon footprint, suppliers, etc.
  • Knowing who and working in partnership with key departments (Field Operations, Finance, etc.)

A bit about you:
  • At least 5 years prior experience as a Fleet Manager for a multi-site organization
  • Lengthy prior experience with financial forecasting & cost analysis
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability for critical thought and to think creatively
  • Being a great teammate a must
