Marketing Events Staff

Part-time | 10-20 hours per week

$15/hour


Ting Internet is bringing ‘crazy fast’ gigabit fiber Internet to Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina and Wake Forest homes and businesses. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and dependable marketing events staff for Summer 2019 (and beyond) to represent the Ting brand at local events around our North Carolina markets. You’ll become a local expert on Ting and we’ll provide full training.


The Marketing Events Staff will work closely with the Marketing Specialist on marketing events and promotions tied to local construction and sponsorships through social media, direct mail, and email marketing.


Responsibilities include:

  • Prepping for events
  • Setting up of the Ting booth on location and take down
  • Communicating the Ting fiber service to the public and responding to questions
  • Compiling unanswered questions or issues from events in a clear and concise format
  • Supporting and organizing with vendors
  • Tracking event sales and interactions
  • Working with the Marketing Specialist to strategize and create communication campaigns for events
  • Providing administrative support when required

Requirements:

  • Customer service/event coordination/marketing experience
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with willingness to talk about our service at our booth
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to creatively solve problems as they arise
  • Be self-motivated and excited to initiate and work independently
  • Commit to being prompt, professionally dressed, and prepared every day
  • Must be able to work weekends and some evenings
  • Must provide own transportation to events in the Triangle area
  • Able to lift promotion related items, up to 30 lbs
