Francisco Obispo

Francisco Obispo is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Tucows Domains having joined as part of the UNR registry acquisition (2021). Francisco provides direct oversight of the various technology teams that operate the Tucows Domains platforms including OpenSRS, Enom, Ascio, Epag and Tucows Registry Services.

In his previous role, Francisco was the CTO of Uniregistry where he led the development of the registry and contributed to the architecture and engineering of its registrar properties. He joined Uniregistry as part of the acquisition of the registry platform developed by Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) in 2013.

Francisco is a Systems Engineer graduated from the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua (2003) in Venezuela and has a wide range of experience in Internet technologies, software engineering, system administration, network operations and policy development.
